Mutiny at the Saratoga Animal Shelter
Today I decided that I would try to fill in part of the moat that Randi and Earl are working on. Not that I don't appreciate their hard work or the fact that they had finished nearly 2/3 of the moat, but I was beginning to get concerned that the pool could slide into the moat and that would be quite the catastrophe. So I got my shovel and started to move dirt. I don't particularly like moving dirt. It's dirty, it's hard work and it is so pointless. Randi the Environmentalist decided to protest by standing in the moat. I didn't want her to think that this would stall my moat filling so I kept shoveling dirt in. Pretty soon she was covered up to her feet in dirt. She wasn't going to move. She was like one of those people who live in the trees as they're cutting them down. Then she laid down in the moat. I continued to shovel dirt and pretty soon her tail was covered. Earl of course just looked on. As soon as I walked away she started to remake the moat. But I'm too kick for her and I used some of my reclaimed cement to cover up the previous moat.
